Random Montage

Went Redcar on friday, the bmx y bit is still in the process of being redone but apparently a "B" block is gonna be part of the new features they put in. Didnt film much except for a quick bank trick at the start of the edit you should see below. Very inquisitive children there all proper stoked on attempting to bollock themseves and remove the possbility of future offspring by attepting to boardslide the flat rail on the funbox, on such kid was 12 years old, little bastard......

Anyway they were full of questions "is that an impossible ?" (suprisingly enough indeed it was), and upon witnessing numerous impressive consecutive pressure flip attempts i became innundated with "what is that trick ?" enquiries, it's a 900....

Still was stoked on a response of mythical proportions from aforementioned youths on the make, I could almost have been at EMB B.I.T.D (CMOAC), sorry enough of the acronyms, or Southbank or something slow it down and it's like the cows mooing in Public Domain.

Checked out Redcars new(?) shop and am now the proud owner of a Mischief Forever shirt, should go nicely with my Mischief bobble hat (skateboarding flumps forever! Pootle represent!). Will stop my gibbering now, so if i can get computers to work below should be an edit starting with the Redcar "hammer" and then a bit of Reece being good and carving a bowl, like I should be able to after 23 years of solid skateboarding, and a bit of Exi too after a quick pitstop at Ryton and Blaydon , enjoy, you probably wont though.

Cabbala

As I'm on blogtastic rollI I'm gonna post this too, it's an old scene vid from the era which I believe is termed "Back In The Day".

Its a video that me and Webster made mainly based around the Stamford/Oakham areas, with most of the footage being from our old skatepark called Skells in Stamford, Lincolnshire. Baggy pants, small wheels, long hair, crap tags, skating so slowly I might as well be going backwards.... ahhh them were the days.

I have no friends to hold the camera for me

Figured I might as well post this too,if you look at my first ever post it says something about filming my self doing impossibles, just be thankful there are no bloody pressure flips ( I'm saving those for later).

Half Term Whitley Bay

Went Whitley on Monday, forgot it was half term, bad move.

Sunshine In Stakeford

Went to Stakeford on Saturday so I could burn myself in the sunshine. Really nice little park with mortal person sized stuff to skate and nice friendly locals. After a small child had challenged me to see who could jump the highest, which I obviously allowed him to win on his bike, filmed a bit of stuff with Dave. I even did my two variations of my one good trick on the block. It must be stressed that in the clip below I had to use technical editing wizardry malarkey to slow the speed of my skating down as normal people would be unable to cope with the sheer ferociousness of its velocity at this point in time ......

(Speaking of speed have you seen the new Real vid yet with Busenitz? Fookin mentalism!)

Blinky Bowlage

Went to Cramlington skatepark yesterday.Filmed a bit of footage of Blinky. The edits got bad filming, questionable picture quality and dodgy sound, what more do you want ? ( Death Metal music may be included next time.)

Down The Local

This is pretty speedy for me actually another post within a week, you lucky, lucky people! (yeah that's people plural I'm hoping that there may be more than one person who will eventually look at this shite, maybe I should make it singular).

It was actually sunny Friday so went for a quick roll around the local. It's best to go during school hours otherwise there usually seem to be a swarm of small children on BMXs jumping off badly made wooden fly-offs for some strange reason. One kid was asking me if I could do all these random tricks he had done whilst playing on Skate 3. ( must be the new generations Tony HawkS ). It was all fine until he asked whether I could do handplants. There was another child who was like "Are you over Twenty ?" and appeared shocked that I was, bet her head would've exploded if I'd mentioned that I'm half way through my third decade ( that would actually have been quite exciting).

Shockingly the flat bottom on the mini ramp was dry. Usually you'd need an Ark to get across the thing without drowning. Now I'm gonna attempt to post a badly fimed bit of footage of my mate doing his signature trick, which I've been informed by reliable sources is about to be renamed the Rock n Ian.

Told you it was gonna be shit.

No Tech

Okay so here's the plan, do some sort of blog type thing with stuff like concrete parks, bowls, stupidly tight concrete miniramps, quarter pipes, maybe some full pipage,  rough surfaces n stuff like that. If we get lucky might meet some rad vert dogs, bowl riders and slashers of pool coping. More likely though is that it'll end up being a load of sweaty old blokes doing flatland bollocks in the back garden.

I have no technological ability so once I can work out how to do it you're  just gonna get some badly filmed tricks on my mini dv camera that I got for free, might even get a clip on fisheye (calm it now) just to make sure the gnarl is properly documented.

If I get lucky there might be some handplants.

More than likely it will be filming myself doing Impossibles and Pressure Flips at the end of my road.

Will post something when I can figure out how to do it and actually manage to film something.

There may even be some photo's at some point.

Don't hold your breath it's taken me a month just to get around to typing this.
